The Arcanite Vein is an enemy found on Granite Grotto after completion of the Sittin' Carefully Away quest.

The Arcanite Vein can only be damaged whilst using gathering tools and having at least 2 gathering level.

Notes

  • The Arcanite Vein can be unlocked before the ability to successfully mine it.
  • Light Dynamite can be used on the Arcanite Vein to immediately obtain a large amount of Arcanite Ore without having the required gathering level.
    • This can allow the player to unlock the Shatterstone Potion by completing the Poor Lodging Choices quest, allowing them to normally mine the vein prior to upgrading their tool.
    • Bestiary progress will not increase as dynamite does not deal damage nor kill the vein.
